Embark on a captivating journey as we pick you up from your Lisbon hotel. Departing from the bustling capital, our route winds through landscapes adorned with windmills and fruit trees, leading us to the charming town of Obidos. Immerse yourself in its historical allure as you stroll through cobblestone streets, explore diverse handicrafts, and savor the famed “ginjinha” liqueur.

Our next destination is Alcobaça, home to Portugal’s largest Gothic church. We then pause in Nazare, a lively fishing village and seaside resort, before heading to Batalha to marvel at the Gothic masterpiece, the Monastery of Santa Maria de Victoria. The day culminates at the globally recognized Sanctuary in Fatima, a paramount Catholic pilgrimage site, where you can soak in its magical ambiance before retiring for the night in Lisbon.

Day 2: COIMBRA AND AVEIRO

Our journey leads us to the historically rich city of Coimbra, the former capital of Portugal and known as the “Student’s City.” Explore the oldest university with its baroque library, experience the traditions of students in iconic black capes, and relish the soul-stirring melodies of “fado” music. We then venture to the St. Clara Monastery before continuing our drive to Aveiro, often referred to as the “Venice of Portugal,” where picturesque canals await your exploration. The day concludes with accommodation in Porto.

Day 3: GUIMARÃES AND BRAGA

Commencing our day in Porto, we delve into its UNESCO monuments, the Douro River, and vibrant artistic scene. Our exploration takes us to the Minho Region, where we first stop in Guimarães, hailed as the “cradle” of Portugal. Wander through the medieval center, visit the Sacred Hill, and explore the Palace of the Dukes of the Bragança Dynasty. The day ends in Braga, the “Portuguese Rome,” where you’ll stroll through historic streets, visit the country’s oldest Cathedral, and explore the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus before returning to Porto for accommodation.

Day 4: LEISURE IN PORTO

Enjoy the freedom to explore Porto at your own pace on this day, with optional curated tours available for those seeking unique experiences. Accommodation in Porto is arranged for your convenience.
